Aim of the trip:  Discover what speaks to your soul and inspires your creative flair.

How: Specifically designed excursions invite you to experience the secrets and symbols of the south of France through daily events and themes. Each morning we'll connect as a group and set the theme for the day.

Where: Nimes, Aigues Mortes, Les Saintes Maries de la Mer in 6 nights in 4 and 5 Star Hotels. Lodging in single rooms with breakfast and lunch or dinner included each day.

Who will benefit: You may just need a break from the routine and be looking for some creative excitement and adventure. Or you may be at a crossroads in your life. Perhaps you've gone through some big transitions and need a change of scenery to explore your inner life and discover your next steps in life. You may be hoping to kick start your creative life. This journey will move you into the mystical and symbolic areas of the South of France and inspire you to reflect, play, enjoy yourself, drink good wine, and feel the way you love to feel in the sun in the South of France.

What to expect:

Few things inspire creativity as much as travel. Taking a journey opens doors to inner explorations and introduces synchronicity and mystery. This South of France travel and writing experience aims to introduce you to the secrets and mysteries of the area from the Roman arena, gardens, and temples of Nimes to the beauty of the walled city of Aigues Mortes, and on into the Camargues and the town, Les Saintes Maries de la Mer. Legend says that the Marys from biblical times fled across the Mediterranean and landed here.

In the Camargue, you'll have an opportunity to imagine life as a gypsy and explore local symbols like the anchored heart and the area's wild horses. In Aigues Morts, the medieval walled city, we'll explore walls, protection, and secret alcoves with significant symbols hidden away in the shadows. In Nimes, we'll explore the masculine and feminine and what they mean to you. Nimes is known for bullfighting, and the ancient Roman ruins of a temple of Diana, as well as exquisite ancient gardens. You'll have a chance to practice some French, sip wine in cafes, and get your French girl on.

We'll play, explore, and you'll have opportunities that will balance self-guided explorations based on suggested areas to explore, with guided trips to invite you to experience this area of Provence at its fullest. You may want to try horseback riding on the beach, biking on the path to the lighthouse beyond Les Saintes Maries de la Mer, and walks to see the birds and flamingos.

If you're a writer,  you'll have opportunities to sit and sip wine and write at cafes, and benefit from one on one guidance for your project ideas. if you're not a writer, you'll be encouraged to use writing as a way to check in with how you feel and explore your inner life. Feel into what places resonate most with you and what might have surprised you or piqued your curiosity to learn more.
Award-winning author, Debra Moffitt, will be your guide and creative inspiration during the journey. She'll help you to connect more deeply with your intuition, pay attention to your dreams, write in the flow (if you want), and lead you into new territory. Price includes: lodging in single rooms at 4 star hotels and above, some meals (all breakfasts and lunch or dinner every day), travel to the sites from Nimes, and personal guided travels with author, Debra Moffitt. The journey begins and ends in Nimes. Access to Nimes is convenient by train from Marseille, Nice, or Paris Airport. Group is limited to a small number of participants. Price at early bird rate is: $2399 in advance. After July 1st cost is: $2550. Initial deposit of $500 holds your space. Final payment due 30 days before the trip.
